Procedure
A standard neck lift involves the incisions of a face lift i.e. In front of and behind the ears and an incision under the chin, in or just behind the natural skin crease.
Sub mental liposuction under the chin.
Joining the edges of the platysma muscle (the bands) together.
Sometimes a chin implant is used to help project the chin if the wind pipe cartilages are high.
A pull on the platysma muscle from the back by the ear.
Very very occasionally removing part of the submandibular gland.
Recovery
